浙江科技学院是一所以工学为主的多学科全日制省属本科院校,其前身为成立于1980年的浙江大学附属杭州工业专科学校。土木与建筑工程学院是隶属于学校的下设二级教学单位,其前身是1980年成立的浙江大学附属杭州工业专科学校土木系,2005年设立建筑工程学院,2014年改名为土木与建筑工程学院。学院坚定不移地走特色办学之路,逐步形成借鉴德国应用科学大学办学经验,结合中国国情,培养具有实践能力、创新精神和国际素养的高素质应用型专门人才的办学特色。

小和山校区坐落于素有人间天堂美誉的历史文化名城——杭州,规划土地面积1690亩,建筑面积45万平方米;安吉校区位于拥有联合国人居奖美誉的安吉,一期土地面积500亩,建筑面积16.5万平方米。土木与建筑工程学院设有土木工程、给水排水工程、建筑学、城市规划、工程造价五个本科专业,基本覆盖了国家基本建设领域。土木工程专业为省重点专业和国家级特色专业,给排水专业为校重点专业。土木工程是浙江省“十三五”一流学科,土木工程一级学科为硕士点授权学科。建筑工程实验中心为省级教学示范中心建设单位。现有全日制本科生、研究生共1800余名,留学生200余名。学院教学科研仪器设备总值3700万元。

学院始终把国际交流与合作作为学校发展的重要战略,形成了鲜明的国际化办学特色。学校是教育部确定的中德合作培养高等应用型人才的试点院校和“中德论坛”基地建设单位,已成为浙江省乃至全国对德教育、科技、文化交流与合作的重要窗口,学校国际化总体水平居浙江省高校第四位,而土木与建筑工程学院国际化办学走在了学校前列,在学校构建多层次、有较大影响的国际合作平台基础上(从中外联合培养本科生项目、中外合作办学项目到中外合作办学机构),进行了不同国际合作平台下土木工程专业人才培养模式的尝试。目前包括与德国、法国、美国、比利时、日本等国家在内的10所高校建立了交流合作关系,各种形式的项目1项,其中与法国赛尔齐•蓬多瓦兹大学合作举办了本科层次中外合作办学项目,一般每年招收90名学生;开设本科层次全英文授课国际化专业1个(土木工程专业),硕士层次全英文授课国际化专业1个(土木工程专业),全英文授课国际化专业入选浙江省教育厅国际化专业建设项目。此外,学院每年开展游学活动,各专业的学生都有赴海外进行短期游学机会。目前,参与国际化项目的学生达500余人。学习优秀的学生有机会赴德国、法国、美国、日本、比利时等国家攻读研究生。

学院本着“优化基础、强化能力、提高素质、发展个性、鼓励创新”的教学理念,突出“现场工程实训教学”特色,取得了显著的成绩。学院积极开展高素质应用型专门人才培养的改革与实践。土木工程专业参照 “卓越工程师教育培养计划”执行,现为省重点专业、国家级特色专业建设点、省级“十二五”优势专业、新兴特色(国际化)专业;学院现拥有国家级工程实践教育中心1个,省级“十二五”实验教学示范中心重点建设项目1个,省级实验教学示范中心1个,校外实践教育基地40个;省级精品课程2门。学生在各类学科竞赛中获得佳绩,近年来获得省级及以上奖励300余项,其中,国际奖5项、国家级80余项、省级 280 项。学院2016年以前招收第一、二批次的本科生,生源质量不断提高。2017年开始实施新高考改革后的招生模式。近几年来,毕业生初次就业率保持在98%左右,就业对口率近八成。

学院坚持以学科建设为龙头,以面向经济转型升级需求和战略性新兴产业布局为导向,紧跟学科前沿,在若干方向上形成优势,承担了多项国家自然科学基金项目、大量省部级项目和社会服务项目。现有1个“十二五”省级重点学科,1个省级重点实验室及省级国际合作科研平台。近年来,获得省部级及以上科研奖项10余项,获国家技术发明奖二等奖1项(第二完成单位);到校科研经费4000万元;发表论文400余篇,其中三大索引和人文社科权威级学术期刊论文100余篇;与企业共建研发机构70余个。

  学院大力实施“人才强院”战略,建设一支具有国际化视野、学术水平一流、师德师风高尚、梯队结构合理的优秀人才队伍。现有教职工近100名,专任教师80余名,其中正高职称10余名,博士及以上学位比例30%以上,具有企业实践经历占40%以上,享受国务院特殊津贴1人,教育部“新世纪优秀人才支持计划”入选者1人, “钱江学者”特聘教授1人,省突出贡献中青年专家1人,省“151人才工程”培养人员12人,省高校中青年学科带头人6人。

 

Zhejiang University of Science and Technology is a full-time engineering based provincial university with multi-discipline. The predecessor of ZUST is Hangzhou Technical College affiliated to Zhejiang University which was set up in 1980. School of Civil Engineering and Architecture is subordinate to the university which was founded in 2005. The school unswervingly pursues the way of characteristic schooling, and formed a characteristic application-oriented schooling way from the cooperation with German University of Applied Sciences combining with the Chinese national conditions. The School aims to train high-level application-oriented and international talents with strong ability of practice and innovation capacity.

Xiao Heshan Campus is located in Hangzhou which is famous for its natural beauty and historical and cultural heritages. The campus covers an area of 1690 acres in which 4.5 million square meters of building area. Anji campus is located in Anji city which received the UN Habitat Scroll of Honour Award in 2012. The campus covers an area of 500 acres in which 16.5 million square meters of building area. The School comprises 5 undergraduate majors including Civil Engineering, Water Supply and Drainage Engineering, Architecture, Urban and Rural Planning and Engineering Costs, which covers the basic construction fields. Civil Engineering is the provincial key major and ranks in national level as a characteristic major. Water Supply and Drainage Engineering is a key developing major of ZUST. Civil Engineering is the first-class discipline of Zhejiang province in the 13th Five-Year plan, and it was authorized to award Master Degree as first-level discipline. The Architecture Experimental Center is provincial exemplary teaching center. The School has more than 1800 full-time undergraduates and graduate students, including around 200 overseas students. The total value of the teaching and research instruments the School owned is about 37 million yuan.

 

International communication and cooperation is the important developing strategy of the school, and also the distinctive characteristics of schooling. ZUST is the pilot university of Sino-German joint training program and the basement of Sino-German forum, and has became an important window of communication and cooperation with Germany in education, science and technology and culture for Zhejiang province and even China. Internationalization of ZUST ranks in the fourth place in Zhejiang province. School of Civil Engineering and Architecture has been at the forefront of internationalization in ZUST which has tried different mode of talents training with great influence, such as Sino-German joint training program and Sino-France joint training program. At present, the school has cooperation with more than 10 overseas universities including Germany, France, the United States, Belgium and Japan etc, including joint training program cooperated with France which admitting around 90 students every year, English-taught bachelor program in Civil Engineering cooperated with San Francisco State University in U.S.A, and postgraduates program which admitting international students only. English-taught bachelor program was selected as construction project of international major by Education Ministry of Zhejiang province. Moreover, there are lots of different kinds of study tours every year in the School, which covers students of all the majors. Till now, more than 500 students in the School participated in international program. Graduates with excellent performance have an opportunity to further their study in Germany, France, the United States, Japan, Belgium etc.

 

With the concept of “Optimizing basis, strengthening capability, improving quality, developing personality, encouraging creativity, the School pays attention to the combination education of theoretical teaching and practical training in construction site, which has obtained excellent results. The School takes active attempts to revolutionize the way of high-qualified applied talents training. The curriculum of Civil Engineering was made according to the Plan for Education and Training Excellent Engineers. Now Civil Engineering is the provincial key major, national characteristic construction project, provincial dominant specialty in 12th Five-Year Plan and the new international major with characteristics. The School now has one National Engineering Practice Education Center, one provincial key project of 12th Five-Year Plan for exemplary teaching, one provincial exemplary teaching center, forty off-campus education practice base and two provincial excellent courses. In recent years, the students won more than 300 awards in various provincial and above academic competitions, including 5 international awards, more than 80 national awards and 280 provincial awards. The school admits students with the score of first and second batch in the university entrance exam, the quality of students was continuously improved. The employment rate of graduates around 98% and job suited rate is around 80%.

 

The school has formed advantages in lots of aspect by tailing to the development of frontier disciplines, taking discipline construction as the leading direction, and the adaption to the need of the economic transformation and upgrading and strategic emerging industry layout as orientation. The school undertook lots of projects supported by National Natural Science Foundation of China and Zhejiang province, and other social service projects. Now the School has one provincial key discipline, one provincial key laboratory and provincial research project with international cooperation. In recent years, the School won more than 10 provincial awards in scientific research in which one second prize of State Technological Invention Award as second unit. Research funds of the School is more than 40 million yuan. More than 400 research papers of the School were published, in which around 100 papers belong to the Three Index Database- SCI、EI and CPCI-S, and academic journals of humanities and social science. The school has more than 70 research and development centers cooperated with enterprises.

 

The school vigorously implements the strategy of reinvigorating School through human resource development, and aims to build up a reasonable team of high-level qualified teachers with good morality and international perspective. There are around 100 faculty members in the School now, among them 80 full-time teachers which includes 10 professors with senior professional title, 30% teachers with Doctor Degree, 40% teachers with enterprise practice experience. One teacher enjoys the special allowance of the State Council, one teacher was elected in New Century Talent Supporting Project by education ministry, one distinguished Professor with title of Qianjiang scholars, one expert with provincial outstanding contributions, 12 teachers trained in the provincial 151 Talents Project and 6 academic leaders.
